WATCH: MTG Fires Back at Anti-Gun Activists

Last week, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was confronted by a group of anti-gun activists while walking down the sidewalk.

“You’re helping kids get shot in school,” said one of the activists.

Another claimed to be in a Boulder, Colorado supermarket last year during a mass killing.

“You know what, I support people to protect themselves with their guns, ok?” Greene said to the woman from Colorado. “Gun-free zones is where people die.”

Look it up,” she continued. “Gun-free zones kill people. Gun-free zones kill people.”

MTG is correct.

Over 90 percent of mass killings happen in places where guns are banned, according to the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC), a nonprofit research organization.

However, when active shooters attack in gun-friendly zones, roughly 40 percent of the time they are stopped by a good guy with a gun, per CPRC data.

These anti-gun activists don’t understand that armed citizen responders are the best defense against determined killers.

If they are truly worried about their safety, they need to take responsibility for it.  They need to make themselves hard targets.

Or, as MTG mentioned, they can move to a country where gun ownership is widely prohibited.

“Like I said, you guys should move to some country where you can’t have guns,” she shouted. “The whole world is an all-you-can-eat buffet of governments. Move to one that fits your beliefs.”
