which President Trump is urging Congress to pass by July 4. The Tesla founder and CEO wrote on X that the bill would &#8220;destroy millions of jobs in America.&#8221; He also <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1939762942851027127\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">suggested<\/a>\u00a0on Monday that, should the bill pass, he would form a new political party and support primary challenges against any Republicans who voted in favor of the legislation.<\/p>\n<p>President Trump <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/trump-elon-musk-subsidies-big-beautiful-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">clapped back early Tuesday<\/a><\/span>, noting the enormous federal subsidies Musk&#8217;s various companies receive from the government and suggesting that the Department of Government Efficiency \u2014 which Musk led before <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/elon-musk-signals-his-time-leading-doge-is-coming-to-an-end\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">stepping down<\/a><\/span> late May \u2014 look into any spending flowing into Musk&#8217;s empire.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the flare-up, Wedbush technology analyst Dan Ives expects the conflict between Musk and Mr. Trump to die down moving forward.
